Governance Training

The Vibrant Governance Program is a State-wide initiative of the Government of Gujarat (GoG) towards building result-oriented governance in the State. This transformation initiative is focussed on improving responsiveness and services to citizens, business and industry. All Government staff, across all levels, will be involved in this initiative

IL&FS Education and Technology Services (IETS) is implementing the training programme for Government of Gujarat employees. The programme focuses on enhancing personal effectiveness, to improve overall governance in the State

The programme is in 3 phases; Phase I and Phase II has involved training 124295 employees during the period from December 2003 to March 2004 and June 2004 to March 2005, respectively. Phase III of the project involves training 100000 employees. The training began on June 15, 2005 and will go on till March 31, 2006

The Good Governance Program (Rajasthan) is yet another programme on the lines of the Vibrant Governance Program. The pilot project for this programme involves training 16000 employees during the period from May 2005 until December 2006
