Waste to Energy Projects

IL&FS has been mandated to develop Integrated Municipal Waste Processing Complexes (IMWPC) in various parts of the country by various municipalities. The initiative is aimed at providing a sustainable solution for solid / liquid waste management by implementing IMPWC through Public Private Partnership. IMWPC would basically convert the solid / liquid waste into power. The mandate covers all aspects of project development from conception to financial closure and also covers project management during the implementation phase. Some of the existing mandates which are under implementation – Timarpur and Ghazipur in Delhi, Patna, Pune, Kanpur, Guwahati, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur etc.
