International Convention Centre Complex, Thiruvananthapuram

The International Convention Centre Complex (ICCC) Project in Thiruvananthapuram aims at enhancing the tourism value of the capital city and give boost to the Meetings Incentives Conventions Exhibitions (MICE) tourism in the State. The Government of Kerala has decided to dedicate the ICCC in memory of Late Shri K.R. Narayanan, the former President of India

The site for the project measures 46 acres and is strategically located adjacent to the scenic Akkulam Lake in Thiruvananthapuram. The project comprises state-of-the-art Convention & Exhibition Centre (1500 pax), Resorts, Hotels, Service Apartments, Retail Business areas and other tourism infrastructure with a total estimated project cost of Rs. 140 Crores

The ICCC is one of the projects developed under the Project Development and Promotion Partnership (PDPP) between GoK and IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (IIDC). The scope of services of IIDC interalia included Project Development Advisory, Marketing of the Project, Bid Process Management and Developer Selection

The Project would be implemented by a Special Purpose Company (SPC) on BOOT basis. Private sector developer/ operator has been identified through a competitive bidding process
